Candle Care

flammes candles are crafted with the finest wax and ingredients available. To make sure your candle burns beautifully we recommend you to:

  • On first use, burn your candle until the entire surface melts. This will prevent the wax from tunneling and ensure it melts evenly all the way down.
  • Burn your candle for 2 hours at a time to maximise mood enhancement, but no more. Burning the candle longer could lead to the jar heating up and could damaged the candle.
  • After extinguishing the flame, centre and straighten the wick.
  • Your candle should burn cleanly. Before each burn, trim the wick to 1⁄4 long to avoid smoke and get a longer burn.
  • Burn your candle until there is a 1⁄4 of wax left
  • Ideally use a snuffer to put our your candle
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Never move your candle while burning
  • Keep your candle out of reach of children and animals
  • Keep your candle away from anything that could catch fire

Repurposing Your Vessel

Our illustration-adorned porcelain vessels have been made to stay in your home long after your candle has burned.

They can be repurposed and given a new life in a multitude of ways: decorative objects, vases, glasses, holders of jewellery etc.

Once the candle has burned down to 5-10 mm of wax remaining, put the vessel in the freezer for several hours. Take it out and the last bit of wax will pop right out. Enjoy!
